ESA : FACULTY STORIES
Q&A with Faculty from the Episcopal School of Acadiana. Project development and photographs by Jennifer Graycheck.

ESA : FLY ON THE WALL SERIES

As team member of the Communications Department at the Episcopal School of Acadiana, one of Jennifer’s brain-child projects was to create a series of informational videos that brought visitors in to the exciting and diverse classrooms of her colleagues. Therein began the “Fly on the Wall” video series. You can preview all 50+ videos by clicking the button below. Both Jennifer and the Director of Communications, Angie Broussard, were responsible in filming and producing all of the videos in this series and have curated them by educational division on the school’s website.

A collaborative class project where ExLabs students filmed ESA in one day, capturing the day-to-day of both campuses from dawn until dusk.

ESA : ExLabs

An experiment in creative content creation. ExLabs is a video production program co-founded (2017) and taught by Jennifer Graycheck at the Episcopal School of Acadiana. The program is designed to work in tandem with the school’s communications department and the course offers upper school students hands on experience with cutting-edge equipment and software, where they collaboratively and/or independently create and produce video content for the school, clients, and personal projects. The website serves as the “textbook” and portfolio for her students’ process and artwork. The program has since expanded in 2024 to include a Social Media Ambassadors program where students can take a course and work specifically in on-brand content creation while bringing authentic student voice and perspective to the school’s media platforms.

An example of an independent project created by student, Parker Leger, ‘24 in his second semester of ExLabs.
